What is homesouls?

It is a way to make the most of your life - A ‘psychology of home’, through which we can explore the deeper connections between the life we have and the places we live in. It is a way to read the home and to work with the home to create a better life.

It is a modern alternative to Feng Shui - A psychology of home.

My book: ‘The Secret of Home’, is a comprehensive guide for ‘self help’, it is the ‘homesouls guide to living in abundance’ – To explore your home as a reflection of what is happening in your life, and to work with your home to build a better life.

“homesouls” is also a term I use for people who are exploring their connection with home and soul. I coined the phrase and developed the method, through fourteen years experience exploring the relationships between people and their homes.

Homesouls.com is a place for “homesouls”- the hub around which I hope to build a community of interest in the subject of home and soul.

How to do it

SELF HELP – I wrote The Secret of Home as a ‘self help’ guide, to empower people with enough information to do this work themselves. More can be gained by working with others, sharing ideas and getting feedback, and often people need support when things get difficult. For this reason I run workshops and encourage people to get together with friends or to organise home study groups. In time I hope that homesouls.com will support an online community of people who can help each other. For information on home study groups and workshops click here.

LIFE COACHING - We are all explorers. To journey with the home in this way is to take a deeper look at ones life and oneself. For fourteen years I have guided hundreds of people on this homesouls journey – Many of their stories are in my book The Secret of Home. I know the territory and I can help you to look in the right places, and to find what you are looking for. Many people are stuck at a point or a place in their life, and often something seems to be missing – I can help you to move on, and to find what is missing in your life. PROFESSIONAL TRAINING – At present I am the only person doing this homesouls work. It will take time for others to gain enough experience to practice homesouls professionally. I intend to run professional training courses and to issue the license to practice as a ‘homesouls consultant’. This will ensure that standards are kept high, and a register is maintained of suitably experienced licensed practitioners.
