I have buildings in my blood – it goes back generations. It was natural for me to become an Architect, to pursue my great love of Building Design and Art, because I know that houses are places of the Soul, and that every home tells the story of the people who live there.
HOUSE READINGS - I have always been able to read houses, at first it was instinctive, but over the years my knowledge has grown. The language of the home is something I have been teaching for thirteen years now, helping people to read their homes, and to create a better life by working with their homes. With this knowledge, design becomes an everyday prayer; an act of grace that helps us to feel more at home in our lives. To find out more Click here.
HOMESOULS has developed through my fourteen years experience exploring the relationships between people and their homes – It is a contemporary way to work with Feng Shui as a psychology of the home. To find out more Click here.
ECO DESIGN - Now I concentrate solely on my homesouls work. I was for some time the Welsh representative of the Ecological Design Association, and also an advisor to the Green Building Digest. I was the Architect for the House that won the CH4 Grand Designs Eco Home of the year award 2008. The inspirational story of this home is in my book pgs.89-90. Look inside.
ARCHITECTURE - Now my role as an architect is to get involved at the ideas stage, acting more as a guide or a coach. I no longer get involved with technical matters or detailed design. In 1992 I left my job as project architect for the Passenger Terminal at Cardiff Wales Airport, to build the life I enjoy now.
WRITING - I never thought that I would be a writer, until I found I had something to say that had not been said before. The Secret of Home is my first book. To find out more Click here.
BUILDING - I come from a family of builders - Building is in my blood. I am always building something - including my own house.
FARMING - My wife breeds Alpacas and I work with her on the land. This work is my grounding and the land is my sanctuary.
